[Cat laughed and pushed herself out of the chair, wrapping her arms around Calista in a hug] Hey Cal, How was classes today? [Cat gave her friends cheek a quick kiss before she resumed her seat in the chair, crossing her long legs as she patted the chair next to her] Tell me what you’re learning now, are you having fun?
[Calista hugged Catarina back and smiled as her best friend kissed her on the cheek then she answered her friend] Class was good, long, tiresome, but transfiguration was interesting. [She smiled remembering what had happened] Some Hufflepuff kid ended up transforming their toad into something unrecognizable but it still croaked [She chuckled] But Yes, I’m having fun, I sort of regret taking divination though [She said wistfully]
[Cat laughed, relaxing back in her chair] I remember those days. there was a kid in my 6th year class that tried to turn a cat into a cup- he failed horribly and the cat wasn’t the happiest. [snorts at the memory, shaking her head] Smaller animals and concentration is what i told him. Yeah, Divination is a little…. out there. It’s more of an acquired taste.
[Sitting herself in the chair that Cat had gestured to before she made herself comfortable] I can’t say this toad was too happy either, he launched himself at the kids face once Professor Magonagall had put it back to its toadlike self [she smiled] You can say that again, I just keep finding myself drifting off to sleep, I mean I love divination, its who teaches it whose the problem. [She sighed] All this business about not being able to see, I see just fine thank you very much [She let out another sigh] How about your day?
[Cat crossed her legs, placing her hands in her lap] Professor Magonagall has always been one of my favorite professors. [She laughed, tilting her head to the side] I always found that class to be a bit of a bore- I was told the same thing. Fuck them, we have perfect sight. My day was pretty good, it’s getting easier i guess. I still miss seeing my sister in the halls… but im getting there.
[She looked at Cat and nodded] She’s one of mine too [She smiled slightly] I think it’s because Trelawny doesn’t have the site [She said with a chuckle then she grew more serious when the conversation turned to Cat’s sister] I know what you mean, losing Mum and Dad has been the same way for me, I don’t know what i’d do if I lost Jez
It was hard enough livin’ with my crazy aunt with Ana around but now it’s nearly intolerable. I swear the woman’s mental. [she sighed a bit, closing her eyes] I’m sorry ‘bout your parents Cal, i know its hard. If you ever gotta talk ‘bout it i’m always around for you. [reaching over she squeezed her friends hand, giving her a small smile]
[she smiled slightly at her friend] And I’m always here for you if it gets too hard, and you can always come stay with us, I mean if you wanted too and your Aunt becomes too much to handle. [She glanced at Cat and sighed] I mean you and I got to stick together
[grins] I’d love to come stay with you sometime. It would be so much fun. [laughs] My aunt is already too much to handle. [smiles] Yeah we do… What would I do without ya Cal? [pulls her into a hug]
Well that’s settled then [She said with a grin] All we need to do is sort a date, and I suppose I best ask Xander and we’ll be all set [She smiled and began mentally planning what they’d do] I suppose we’ll never know what you’d do without me, ‘cause I ain’t leaving anytime soon]
[laughs, shaking her head] Yes, ask. It’ll be wonderful. I’ll send my aunt an Owl and tell her to send my things over there once you get the okay. This will be amazing. [stretching a bit she grinned] Well, that’s what i like to hear Cal, I don’t plan on letting you leave either. [smirks]
[Calista smiled at her friend as she began writing down a list of things that the pair of them would need when she came to stay] That’s good, because I don’t think I’d cope without you [She said with a slight smile] Do you wanna do something now? [She asked Cat as she put her quill down momentarily]
I don’t have anything to do at the moment, so why not! Want to come outside with me? I’ve been thinking about going for a walk at some point during the day. [she stood up and ran a hand through her brown locks, her eyes gazing over to the window for a moment] It looks nice out, but still cold. [she bit down on her lip and grabbed her friends hand] Let’s get some jackets. We can talk about what we can do while i’m at your house. [grins]
[She smiled as Catarina grabbed her hand] That sounds like a plan and a half [she smiled and looked out the window] Yes, Jackets are probably a good idea [She said as she walked along side her friend in order to go and get their jackets] We’re going to have so much fun [she chuckled slightly, because if anyone deserved to have some fun, it was definitely the pair of them]
[laughs, heading into her room and grabbing a jacket out of her trunk] It’ll be the best no doubt about it. We easily have the most fun around here. [runs a hand through her brown hair, leaning against the wall as she waited for Calista to get her jacket] This will definitely be the best vacation ever. [she linked arms with her friend once she had found her jacket and headed out of the common room]
[Grabbing her jacket from the chair she had flung it on, she joint Cat] Of course we do [She chuckled] Just because everyone assumes all Ravenclaw’s only sit and read books doesn’t make it true. [She smiled at her friend] Plus being out of school means that we can have more fun [She smiled again] So of course it will be the best vacation ever

[He sniggered and smiled innocently] Me? Mischevious? … Have you met me? [He smirked and waited for her to catch up before continuing, he should’ve known she wouldn’t have let the subject drop. [He shuddered at the thought before leaning slightly towards her] Her name’s Dakota… [He mumbled quietly, deliberately leaving out her last name out of fear of his sisters reaction.]
[When he said her name, she looked thoughtful for a moment, she could only think of one Dakota, but she had promised her brother she wouldn’t react] Is she nice? [She asked trying not to flip out and she couldn’t just assume that it was Dakota Greengrove, though with the mumbling of her name, she knew it was] And I’m sure I won’t want to castrate you [she said looking at her brother furrowing her eyebrows] ‘Cause I’m sure you haven’t been stupid enough to fall for a Greengrove.

[She smiled and looked at him as she walked] I can believe that [She said softly, almost tempted to take one of his hands from his pocket to give it a squeeze of appreciation] Thank you [She whispered slightly, meaning it]
[looks over at her and smiles back slightly in response, shrugging] It’s nothing, really. [pauses, watching her for a long moment, before looking ahead again] So.. since we’re headed for the kitchens, I s’pose it’s only appropriate to ask what your favorite food is. [raises an eyebrow curiously, smiling wider]
As I said before, it means a lot to me, there really aren’t many people who would put an offer like that out there [She smiled at him] Favourite Food? Hmmm…..[she looked thoughtful for a moment] I love the pumpkin pasties here, they are a lot like how Mum used to make them. [She smiled slightly at the memory]
[smiles back at her] Really? I like them too, for different reasons of course. If I had to choose, though, I think I’d go with the treacle tart. It was one of the first sweets I had when I came here and it just sort of became my favorite. [laughs, shaking his head] The ones here are loads better than my mum’s.
[She chuckled] I’m not much of a sweet fan [she said smiling] Though I will give you that the treacle tart is divine, I suppose it is one of the few sweets I will eat [She looked at him] Well I suppose they must have a secret recipe for it, the house elves I mean
