[Cat laughed and pushed herself out of the chair, wrapping her arms around Calista in a hug] Hey Cal, How was classes today? [Cat gave her friends cheek a quick kiss before she resumed her seat in the chair, crossing her long legs as she patted the chair next to her] Tell me what you’re learning now, are you having fun?
[Calista hugged Catarina back and smiled as her best friend kissed her on the cheek then she answered her friend] Class was good, long, tiresome, but transfiguration was interesting. [She smiled remembering what had happened] Some Hufflepuff kid ended up transforming their toad into something unrecognizable but it still croaked [She chuckled] But Yes, I’m having fun, I sort of regret taking divination though [She said wistfully]
[Cat laughed, relaxing back in her chair] I remember those days. there was a kid in my 6th year class that tried to turn a cat into a cup- he failed horribly and the cat wasn’t the happiest. [snorts at the memory, shaking her head] Smaller animals and concentration is what i told him. Yeah, Divination is a little…. out there. It’s more of an acquired taste.
[Sitting herself in the chair that Cat had gestured to before she made herself comfortable] I can’t say this toad was too happy either, he launched himself at the kids face once Professor Magonagall had put it back to its toadlike self [she smiled] You can say that again, I just keep finding myself drifting off to sleep, I mean I love divination, its who teaches it whose the problem. [She sighed] All this business about not being able to see, I see just fine thank you very much [She let out another sigh] How about your day?
[Cat crossed her legs, placing her hands in her lap] Professor Magonagall has always been one of my favorite professors. [She laughed, tilting her head to the side] I always found that class to be a bit of a bore- I was told the same thing. Fuck them, we have perfect sight. My day was pretty good, it’s getting easier i guess. I still miss seeing my sister in the halls… but im getting there.
[She looked at Cat and nodded] She’s one of mine too [She smiled slightly] I think it’s because Trelawny doesn’t have the site [She said with a chuckle then she grew more serious when the conversation turned to Cat’s sister] I know what you mean, losing Mum and Dad has been the same way for me, I don’t know what i’d do if I lost Jez
It was hard enough livin’ with my crazy aunt with Ana around but now it’s nearly intolerable. I swear the woman’s mental. [she sighed a bit, closing her eyes] I’m sorry ‘bout your parents Cal, i know its hard. If you ever gotta talk ‘bout it i’m always around for you. [reaching over she squeezed her friends hand, giving her a small smile]
[she smiled slightly at her friend] And I’m always here for you if it gets too hard, and you can always come stay with us, I mean if you wanted too and your Aunt becomes too much to handle. [She glanced at Cat and sighed] I mean you and I got to stick together
[grins] I’d love to come stay with you sometime. It would be so much fun. [laughs] My aunt is already too much to handle. [smiles] Yeah we do… What would I do without ya Cal? [pulls her into a hug]
Well that’s settled then [She said with a grin] All we need to do is sort a date, and I suppose I best ask Xander and we’ll be all set [She smiled and began mentally planning what they’d do] I suppose we’ll never know what you’d do without me, ‘cause I ain’t leaving anytime soon]
