[She couldn’t help but blush slightly as his hand moved to her face and brushed her hair behind her ear] I’m glad I have you [She smiled again] I guess we should get to the kitchens? [she said trying to get them back on track]
[nods, putting his hands into the pockets of his trousers and starting to walk again] Yeah, sounds good to me. [shrugs] I’ll always be here if you need someone to talk to. I may cause a lot of trouble, but I’m good at causing good in peoples’ lives, too. [smiles]
[She smiled and looked at him as she walked] I can believe that [She said softly, almost tempted to take one of his hands from his pocket to give it a squeeze of appreciation] Thank you [She whispered slightly, meaning it]
[looks over at her and smiles back slightly in response, shrugging] It’s nothing, really. [pauses, watching her for a long moment, before looking ahead again] So.. since we’re headed for the kitchens, I s’pose it’s only appropriate to ask what your favorite food is. [raises an eyebrow curiously, smiling wider]
As I said before, it means a lot to me, there really aren’t many people who would put an offer like that out there [She smiled at him] Favourite Food? Hmmm…..[she looked thoughtful for a moment] I love the pumpkin pasties here, they are a lot like how Mum used to make them. [She smiled slightly at the memory]
[smiles back at her] Really? I like them too, for different reasons of course. If I had to choose, though, I think I’d go with the treacle tart. It was one of the first sweets I had when I came here and it just sort of became my favorite. [laughs, shaking his head] The ones here are loads better than my mum’s.
[She chuckled] I’m not much of a sweet fan [she said smiling] Though I will give you that the treacle tart is divine, I suppose it is one of the few sweets I will eat [She looked at him] Well I suppose they must have a secret recipe for it, the house elves I mean
